Reflector in short
Wait a lunar cycle · SurpriseReflectors have all nine centers open, which makes them rare and unusually sensitive to their surroundings. They take in and reflect back the people and places around them, which gives them a remarkable read on the health of a group or community. For a Reflector, choosing the right environment is the single most important decision.
The aura
The Reflector aura is described as resistant and sampling. They taste the energy around them without being taken over by it, which lets them reflect a group back to itself. In a healthy place a Reflector feels wonderful; in an unhealthy one they feel it first.
Strategy: wait a lunar cycle
The strategy is to wait a lunar cycle, about 28 days, before major decisions. As the Moon moves through every gate over that month, a Reflector experiences the question from many angles. Talking it over with trusted people across the cycle helps them hear what they really think. Small daily choices do not need the full wait.
Authority
Reflectors have Lunar authority: clarity comes over time, tracking how they feel about something as the Moon completes its cycle, rather than from any one center in the moment.
Signature and not self theme
The signature is surprise, the delight of a life that keeps showing them something new. The not self theme is disappointment, which tends to show up when they rush decisions, stay in places that do not suit them, or try to be consistent in the way people with defined centers are.
In love
In relationships Reflectors need a partner who accepts that they will change from week to week, and who gives them space and time to decide. They often take on the moods of those closest to them, so time alone helps them tell their own feelings from everyone else's. The right home and the right people matter enormously.
At work
At work Reflectors are natural evaluators: they can sense whether a team or a community is working, often before anyone else. Roles that use that read (culture, community, quality, mediation) suit them, in a workplace that feels good to be in. They do best without being pushed into quick decisions.
Try this
Try keeping a short note each day for a month on how you feel about one open question, then read it back at the end. Notice which places and people leave you feeling clear and which leave you flat. Let yourself be different from week to week; that is the design.
How the type is worked out
A Reflector has no defined channel at all, so all nine centers are open. The calculator checks this from your birth moment and your design moment, 88 degrees of the Sun’s path earlier.
